Which planets this reading uses

Is this reading for the Sun sign or the Moon sign?
The Moon sign. In the Vedic system your rashi is the sign the Moon occupied at birth. The Sun sign printed in newspapers comes from the Western system and is usually different. If you do not know yours, work it out with the free kundli.
Why does the daily reading change every day?
Because the Moon moves every day. It covers about 13 degrees in a day and changes sign in roughly two and a quarter days — so one day’s reading ought to differ from the next. A horoscope that says the same thing every day is not being measured.
Why are Saturn and Jupiter not shown here?
