Lucky Name Numerology Calculator

A name number and a birth number are different things. Both are worked out here, along with how they sit together — but changing your name is never tradition’s first suggestion.

Fill in the form above and press “Calculate”.

What this calculator tells you

This gives your name number in both systems — Chaldean and Pythagorean — and then checks how each agrees with your Mulank and your Destiny number.

How the calculation works

The Mulank and Destiny number are derived from the birth date first. The name is then converted using two different letter tables. They genuinely differ — most notably, Chaldean assigns 9 to no letter. So the two answers often disagree, and both are shown here rather than one being quietly dropped.

How to read the result

What matters is the agreement, not the number by itself. When the name number agrees with the Mulank, the tradition reads that as favourable. The two systems disagreeing is entirely normal, not a fault. Use the answer from whichever system you follow; do not blend them.

Common questions

Which system is correct?

Both are in use. Chaldean is older and more common in India; Pythagorean is the usual one in the West. Both are given here because picking one and hiding the other would not be honest.

Does changing a name change one’s fortune?

It changes the number; that much is true. Anything promised beyond that is belief, not arithmetic — and selling it as arithmetic is not honest.

What if I change one letter of the spelling?

The number can change. Which is why you should enter the name you actually use, not the one you would like to have.
