Vastu Floor Plan Analysis — on your own plan
Take your house or plot plan. If it is a labelled drawing or a PDF, the engine reads the rooms and the orientation itself (you check and correct it); otherwise outline it, set north and mark the rooms yourself. The engine works out each room’s direction and tells you what the tradition says about it — and why it says so.
Fill it in from the plan new
If your plan has room names and N/S/E/W printed on it, the engine reads them and fills in the outline, the orientation and the rooms for you. It shows you what it read first — correct it and carry on. The manual method below is unchanged.
1. Take the plan (optional)
No plan is fine — you can simply draw a rectangle below and work from that.
Tap the corners of the plan to outline it (at least three points), or press “Rectangle”.
2. Where is north?
0° means north is straight up on the plan. Indoors, a phone compass can be off by 5–15° because of steel and wiring — which is why that margin of error is printed with the result rather than hidden.
3. Mark the rooms
Pick a room, then tap its centre on the plan. The engine does not detect rooms on its own — that is deliberate: a wrong reading produces wrong advice, and vastu advice sometimes ends in knocking down a wall.
4. Ground and road (optional)
Neither of these shows up on a plan, so we ask. Leaving them blank costs you nothing — the engine simply does not count them; it does not guess.
What this engine does not do
Vastu tools on the market hand out a 0–100 score without saying how it was arrived at. We do it the other way round — method first, result after. This version does not include:
- Ayadi calculations
- Detecting rooms from the plan automatically
Ayadi calculations need the plot’s real dimensions, and pixels do not give those — so not answering is better than answering falsely.

Frequently asked questions
Is my plan uploaded anywhere?
No. The image stays in your browser and all the maths runs there. Close the page and everything is gone.
Does the engine identify the rooms itself?
Give it a PDF or a labelled drawing and the engine reads the printed room names and the N/S/E/W markers, then fills in the rooms and the orientation itself. But what it read is shown to YOU first — anything doubtful at the top, and anything it could not identify switched off. Nothing is analysed until you say it is right. The reason is the old one: advice given on a wrong identification ends in knocking down walls.
Score kaise banta hai?
Each room scores by its direction — auspicious 1.0, acceptable 0.6, neutral 0.5, or needs-attention 0.15. Each room then carries its own weight: the main door and toilet 3, the kitchen and bedroom 2.5, the rest less. In the total, rooms account for 70% and structure (brahmasthan, marma, plot shape, slope, road) for 30%. Every one of these weights is shown alongside the result, not hidden.
Kya ye vaigyanik hai?
No. Vastu is a tradition. These results follow that tradition’s common rules, not any scientific proof. No guarantee is offered, and no demolition is ever advised.
