Name Compatibility Calculator
This uses the Chaldean number system, not a game. Each name’s number is derived, then the same planetary friendship used in kundli matching is read between their rulers.
What this calculator tells you
This reduces two names to numbers and reports the agreement between them. One thing worth saying up front: this is not a game — it is a real numerological calculation, not something like FLAMES.
How the calculation works
Both names are converted to numbers using the Chaldean system. The ruling planet of each number is then found (1 Sun, 2 Moon … 9 Mars), and the Parashari friendship between those planets is assessed — the same friend-and-enemy table used in horoscope matching.
How to read the result
The result shows each name’s own number and its ruling planet, so you can see what the verdict rests on. It is not the whole picture though: a name number is one part. The birth date, the Moon sign and the 36 gunas are read alongside it.
Common questions
How is this different from FLAMES?
FLAMES is a letter-striking game with no doctrine behind it. Here a name yields a number, the number a planet, and the planets’ mutual friendship is judged. They look alike; they are not.
Which name should I use — full or the one I go by?
The one you actually go by. The tradition treats that as the operative one, and changing the spelling changes the number.
If the score is low, is the relationship doomed?
No. It is an indication, not a verdict. Deciding a relationship on a name number would be a mistake — full matching with the 36 gunas exists for that.
